Story Pitch - Yolanda Xing

1. Everyone is on their phone and walking with their heads looking down. There is a sensor-working mechanic on their phone that can detect their surroundings and help them to avoid any obstacle without notice. 
2. There is one man named Talbot who is walking on the street looking down like everyone else, yet suddenly his sensor stops working. He constantly gets into telegraph poles, trash cans, and even other people's back. He is forced to raise his head and see what happen. At this moment he realizes the beauty of things around him. He was on an Instagram page about cats and he just sees a group of cats across the street. His favorite restaurant that he wished to order is right next block. Etc etc. 
3. He tries all means to wake up other people but they all ignore him. 
4. He goes back home. Because he is a technician working with coding, he develops a virus-like app that can destroy all the sensors within a certain distance around him. 
5. He walks into a metro train with a virus and people around him starts to have real face to face interactions. (Ex: Couples stop texting each other side by side.) THEND
